Terms of Service
Last updated 18 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Lady Rabi'a Academy. Please read them before you subscribe. In short: you pay monthly, you can stop whenever you like, and the content is for you and your household to learn from.
1. About the Academy
Lady Rabi'a Academy ("we", "us") is a membership offering guided teachings, readings, reflections and a members' community for parents, rooted in the Islamic tradition and informed by psychology and research. Contact us at info@ladyrabiaacademy.org.
The Academy is educational. It is not a source of religious rulings (fatwas), and it is not medical, psychological, legal or therapeutic advice. Where a question needs formal Islamic scholarship or a qualified professional, please consult one.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 to create an account. Give us accurate details, keep your login private, and tell us if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for activity on your account.
3. Plans, price and payment
| Plan | Price |
|---|---|
| Founding member (first 30 seats) | £18 per month |
| Standard | £25 per month |
- Memberships are billed monthly in advance, and renew each month until you cancel.
- Payments are taken securely by Stripe through our provider, Outseta. We never see your full card details.
- Founding members keep the Founding rate for as long as their membership continues without a break. If you cancel and later rejoin, the Standard rate applies.
- If we ever change a price, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email, and the new price will only apply from your next renewal after that.
- If a payment fails, we may pause your access until it is resolved.
4. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your profile. Your membership then runs until the end of the month you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again. We do not charge cancellation fees.
5. Your right to change your mind, and refunds
If you are a consumer in the UK, you have 14 days from first subscribing to cancel and ask for a refund. Because access to the content begins as soon as you subscribe, you agree that access starts immediately. If you have already used the lessons, we may deduct a fair amount for the access you have had. To use this right, email us at info@ladyrabiaacademy.org within the 14 days. Beyond that, if something has gone wrong, please talk to us and we will do what is fair. This does not affect your statutory rights.
6. The content and how you may use it
All teachings, recordings, readings and other materials belong to us or our contributors. With an active membership you may use them for your own personal, non-commercial learning and share them within your own household. You may not copy, record, republish, sell, or share access to them outside your household, or use them to train software or AI systems.
Lessons open in sequence as you complete the previous one. We may update, replace or reorder content over time.
7. The community
The members' chat is a shared space, so please be kind, honest and respectful. Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, discriminatory or private about someone else, and do not use it to advertise. We may remove content and, if needed, suspend or close accounts that break these rules. What you post stays your own, but you give us permission to display it to other members. Please do not share things you would not want others to read.
8. The free recording and emails
If you ask for the free recording, we will email it to you along with occasional messages from the Academy. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the site and lessons available, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service. We may need to pause it for maintenance or because of problems outside our control.
10. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for anything connected with the Academy is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. The Academy offers guidance for reflection; how you apply it in your family is your own responsibility.
11. Ending your account
You can stop using the Academy at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, in which case we will tell you why and refund any unused paid time.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you by email before it takes effect, and you can cancel if you do not agree.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also use your local courts.
